Anchor Moves Governor Sherrill
Some moves are about more than getting from one home to another. They become part of New Jersey history. ❤️
Anchor Moving & Storage is truly honored to have been entrusted with the historic move of Governor Mikie Sherrill and her family into Drumthwacket, New Jersey’s official Governor’s Residence.
After more than two decades without a governor living there full time, this move marked a significant milestone for our state. We are grateful to have played a part in bringing new life to a home filled with so much history and meaning for New Jersey.
Receiving this heartfelt letter from First Gentleman Jason Hedberg makes the experience even more special. His kind words about our team mean more than we can express.
A special thank you to Diego Salazar and his crew — Joel, Sammy, Manuel, Wilmar, and Frank — for the care, professionalism, and dedication they brought to this important job. Moving a historic property requires an extraordinary level of attention, and our team delivered with the care and respect this home deserves.
At Anchor, we believe our work is about so much more than moving furniture and belongings. It’s about earning trust, caring for people, and being part of moments that matter.
To our incredible team, we couldn’t be more grateful. And to the Hedberg family, thank you for allowing Anchor to be part of this special chapter in New Jersey history. ❤️
