Anchor Moving & Storage recently partnered with the staff at The College of New Jersey’s Library on a large-scale library move, including weeding and disposal projects in preparation for their upcoming renovation.
This two-week project totaled 364+ man-hours and required close coordination between two Anchor crew teams working together seamlessly. The scope included:• 10 dumpsters of books responsibly sent to a recycling center• 15 C-bins of VCR tapes cleared out• Over 4,000 albums removed
All materials were handled efficiently and sustainably, helping clear valuable space as TCNJ expands student work areas and relocates the bookstore into the library.
Library moves and large institutional projects are nothing new to Anchor Moving & Storage—we’ve successfully completed many over the years. We’re proud to support TCNJ during this exciting transformation and appreciate the collaboration with their library staff throughout the process.
